There is one full scholarship for PhD study at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. The total scholarship will be at least $25,000 per year up to three years covering your tuition and basic living costs. The research will be related to soil nail wall or transparent soil modelling. The minimum requirements are the following:
1. English Requirement: TOEFL (IBT) 93 or TOEFL (PBT) 580, IELTS 7
2. Excellent undergraduate (civil engineering) and graduate records (Master degree in structural or geotechnical engineering)
3. Some practical work experience preferred
4. Preference will be given to students with sponsors from China Scholar Council
5. The deadline for full consideration will be April 30, 2011
