b42"Y,sbB Department of Civil and Structural Engineering of the The Hong Kong Polytechnic
2nL [P#r University under the supervision of Prof. Jin‐Guang Teng. The student may choose to
dVh* a work in one of the following three areas:
tCFXb6Cz (1) Fiber‐reinforced polymer composites in structures
9%i|_c} (2) Steel structures/steel‐concrete composite structures
M PhG:^g (3) Life‐cycle structural engineering
o/grM+_ Applicants must possess the following qualifications/attributes:
Bw ]Y7 1 (1) A bachelor degree in civil engineering with academic results being within the
~|_s 2T top 10% of the class from a reputable university.
]chfa (2) A master degree from a reputable university or completion of the coursework
a9h K8e component of a Master degree or PhD degree programme at a reputable

The successful applicant will receive a monthly stipend of HK$ 13,800 per month for
