some personal viewpoints: ,K8(D<{
1. there are no shear studs/keys behind the walers, but the shear forces along the axial direction of waler is very big on the diagonal location. Lb0B m R%0
2. It seems there are no preloading-jacks on the diagonal struts. they should be preloaded. F2C v,&'
3. effective length of the diagonal struts are too big. as the poster above has said there should be some kingposts and runnerbeams to support the struts. )(DX]Tr`

king posts are used to support the struts vertically. it will resist the dead load of strut/runnerbeam, live load on the strut(working load), accidental load(if it needs to be accounted for). It is better to analyze the kingpost together with runnerbeam/struts, taking into account of the eccentricity effects. K)nn;j=
