some personal viewpoints: AX1'.
1. there are no shear studs/keys behind the walers, but the shear forces along the axial direction of waler is very big on the diagonal location. !@/?pXt|
2. It seems there are no preloading-jacks on the diagonal struts. they should be preloaded. aG\m3r
3. effective length of the diagonal struts are too big. as the poster above has said there should be some kingposts and runnerbeams to support the struts. ){>;eky

king posts are used to support the struts vertically. it will resist the dead load of strut/runnerbeam, live load on the strut(working load), accidental load(if it needs to be accounted for). It is better to analyze the kingpost together with runnerbeam/struts, taking into account of the eccentricity effects. ]'_z(s}
